“In A World Focused On Things, We Focus On People First.” ~College of Human Ecology, Kansas State University

Education

I received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, accredited from Kansas State University. The interiors program was originally located in the College of Architecture, with the first year interior design courses equivalent to the architecture program. Prior to acceptance, the university relocated the interior design program to the College of Human Ecology, due to the specialized focus of humans within the built environment. This education now serves as the fundamental root to every project, weaving an architectural approach with a human centric mindset.

“Interior Design is not only seen, but Experienced.” ~Kelsey

Experience

Soon after graduation, I moved to Austin, Texas and started professional practice at a commercial interior design firm; specializing in retrofitting and redesigning office environments. I then moved to a reputable contemporary architecture and interior design firm, delivering key contributions lending to several awards and recognition, both commercially and residentially. This experience has led to a practice offering architectural and interior design services for a diversity of projects from full renovations to new builds.

The Third Dimension is the physical universe, where all matter exists.

Third Dimension Design

Adhering to a specific design style is the not approach, rather every project and client is unique and treated as so. Many factors influence the design such as the location, site, culture, budget, timeline, project type, client, and occupants; creating custom tailored projects standing the test of time, rather than trend. The focus is listening to nature as the guide with an emphasis on sustainability and natural materials, fostering health, safety and wellbeing for humans and animals. The result is a nurturing and supportive environment for all.
